ONE Championship star Luke Lessei faced adversity when he made his promotional debut in 2023, but he is doing everything in his power to keep his newfound momentum going.

After a stunning unanimous decision loss to 'Smokin' Jo Nattawut, 'The Chef' bounced back admirably against Filipino-American star Eddie Abasolo with a split decision victory where Lessei gave fans a glimpse of his underlying power.

Lessei will look to repeat the feat in his upcoming bout as he takes on France's Bampara Kouyate in a featherweight Muay Thai clash at ONE Fight Night 23 on July 5.

ONE Championship recently shared on Instagram the work that Lessei has been putting in training camp and his striking is looking more crisp than ever.

Lessei knows that he needs to be at his best against Kouyate as he has won the WMC European Title and, most recently, the WMC Muay Thai World Title in his home country while boasting a highly impressive 34-2 record.

Currently ranked as the No. 5 fighter in the featherweight Muay Thai division, Lessei is aware of what is at stake against the Frenchman inside the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

While Luke Lessei is deep in his preparations for his all-important third bout under ONE Championship, his fans are just as ready to see him strut his stuff.
