WATCH: Anatoly Malykhin's hard-hitting KOs ahead of world title defense against 'Reug Reug' at ONE 169
The first-ever three-division ONE MMA world champion Anatoly Malykhin paved his way to global megastar status by finishing every opponent he has faced in ONE Championship.
Ahead of his defense of the ONE heavyweight MMA world championship against Oumar 'Reug Reug' Kane at ONE 169: Malykhin vs. 'Reug Reug' on Nov. 8 inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, ONE shared some of Malykhin's most devastating finishes inside the circle on Instagram:
After posting first-round finishes of Alexandre Machado and Amir Aliakbari in March and September 2021, respectively, Malykhin knocked out Kirill Grishenko in the second round of their February 2022 clash to win the ONE interim heavyweight MMA world championship.
In December that same year, 'Sladkiy' supplanted Reinier de Ridder as the new ONE light heavyweight MMA world champion in a one-round beatdown.
Malykhin next claimed the undisputed ONE heavyweight MMA world championship with a third-round TKO of then-heavyweight MMA king Arjan Bhullar in June 2023.
The Golden Team star again crossed paths with De Ridder at ONE 166: Qatar this past March over the latter's ONE middleweight MMA world championship. Though 'The Dutch Knight' fought valiantly, Malykhin ultimately earned 26 pounds of ONE middleweight MMA gold via TKO in the third round.
