WATCH: BJJ savant Adriano Moraes pulls out all of his magic in trilogy matchup against rival Geje Eustaquio in Manila

Former ONE flyweight MMA world champion Adriano Moraes has closed his rivalry with Filipino MMA star Geje Eustaquio in outstanding fashion, and he masterfully defeated him in their trilogy match in January 2019 at the main event of ONE: Hero's Ascent card.

Moraes has spoiled the party in Manila, Philippines, with a unanimous decision victory over Eustaquio in front of his home fans.

ONE Championship has looked back at his best moments during that fight through a recent Instagram post with the caption:

The video highlighted the best submission attempts that the Brazilian superstar pulled off over the 'Gravity' in their championship showdown.

'Mikinho' used his superior grappling skills to set up several submission attempts, such as the rear-naked choke, heel hook, banana split, and guillotine throughout the match. The Team Lakay representative survived all of them to see the full five rounds of the championship bout.

However, the American Top Team and Constrictor Team athlete carved out a unanimous decision victory to reclaim the 26-pound golden belt.


Adriano Moraes to face another Filipino in upcoming fight at ONE 169

Moraes' path back to the coveted belt begins on Nov. 8 as he takes on Filipino MMA star and current No. 3-ranked contender Danny Kingad in a rematch at ONE 169.

The Brazilian superstar looks to reassert his mastery over 'The King,' whom he previously defeated in their first meeting in November 2017 at ONE: Legends of the World card via first-round submission.
