WATCH: Chingiz Allazov puts Demetrious Johnson on the spot backstage at ONE Fight Night 6

Following his ONE world title-winning performance at ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video, Chingiz Allazov shared a word with fellow ONE titleholder Demetrious Johnson backstage.

‘Chinga’ immediately called out the flyweight great for calling Superbon the best striker in the sport during an appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience.

Of course, Allazov’s call out of Johnson was all for fun as the two ONE world champions had nothing but respect for one another.

In the video clip, which fans can see below, Johnson compliments Allazov’s performance in the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix tournament. He also asked to get a picture with the newly crowned king of kickboxing:

“Respect 😤🏆 'Mighty Mouse' headlines our INAUGURAL U.S. event at ONE Fight Night 10 in a ONE Flyweight World Title trilogy match against Adriano Moraes on May 5! 🏆 @chingizallazov @mighty #ONEFightNight6”

Less than a month removed from his ONE world title win, Chingiz Allazov is already looking for his first challenger. For Demetrious Johnson, that process has already been taken care of.

‘Mighty Mouse’ will return to the circle for a highly anticipated trilogy bout with divisional rival and former ONE flyweight world champion Adriano Moraes. The two flyweight superstars will headline the promotion’s inaugural event in the United States on May 5.

Chingiz Allazov will be ready for a potential rematch with Superbon

With Chingiz Allazov’s definitive win over Superbon at ONE Fight Night 6, an immediate rematch is unlikely, but that doesn’t mean the two elite strikers are done with one another.

Chances are, Superbon and Allazov will cross paths again.

Asked about a potential rematch between the two, Allazov indicated that he was more than willing to make it happen, saying:

"Yes, ok,” Allazov said in an interview with SCMP MMA. “No problem. I have real respect for him. Before, he was the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world. I [was] number two but now, I’m number one. I don’t like these rankings. This is good. You see this, but my mental focus is another [thing]."

Despite his spectacular performance against Superbon, Allazov believes he can be even better, whether it’s in a rematch with the Thai star or with another opponent:

"[Mentally], I’m ready and maybe in other fights I can give 100 percent. I’ll be more technical, make my speed more, and maybe even have more power."
