Reigning and undisputed ONE women's atomweight submission grappling world champion Danielle Kelly of the United States has really come into her own in the world's largest martial arts organization.
Kelly joined ONE Championship in 2022 at the historic ONE X in Singapore. There, she drew with MMA veteran and former ONE world title challenger Mei 'V.V' Yamaguchi in her first match on the global stage.
Then, Kelly went on to win her next three bouts, including taking home the inaugural ONE women's atomweight submission grappling world title against bitter rival Jessa Khan last September 2023.

Kelly and Khan have history. Khan had a win over Kelly outside of ONE Championship before their rematch in the Circle at ONE Fight Night 14, and the American wanted nothing more than revenge over her former tormentor.
Kelly would end up winning a unanimous decision after time expired, showcasing superior cage control and scoring with more legitimate submission attempts.
However, this is likely not the last time we see Kelly and Khan face off in ONE Championship, given how close their fight was.
