Superlek Kiatmoo9 has been an unstoppable force in ONE Championship for over two years. Since suffering a defeat against Ilias Ennahachi in Feb. 2021, the Thai superstar rebounded in spectacular fashion, winning 11 consecutive bouts in the process.

Superlek's roster of victims reads like a who's who of the striking world, with notable names including Walter Goncalves, Panpayak Jitmuangnon, Danial Williams, Nabila Anane, Rodtang Jitmuangnon, and Takeru Segawa.

The latest addition to his hit list is Jonathan Haggerty, whom he defeated for the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title at ONE 168: Denver this past September.

Though the matchup in "The Mile High City" was anticipated to be a tough challenge for 'The Kicking Machine,' he decided to flip the script by making short work of his British opponent.

As Haggerty threw a straight right hand, Superlek swiftly ducked and delivered a perfectly executed elbow, sending 'The General' crashing to the canvas.

Despite Haggerty’s attempts to recover, he couldn’t beat the referee’s 10-count, sealing Superlek's victory in just 49 seconds.

This jaw-dropping performance earned Superlek a place in the record books, as he became the simultaneous holder of the ONE flyweight kickboxing and bantamweight Muay Thai world championships.

Reflecting on his achievement during the post-event press conference, Superlek shared his thoughts on the significance of the triumph:

"I'm extremely grateful for the chance that I have here. I want everybody, all over America and the world to see how incredible Muay Thai is, the danger, the excitement, everything about Muay Thai."

Superlek aims to sustain win streak at ONE 170

It’s safe to say that Superlek Kiatmoo9 has no plans to slow things down. He’s set to report for duty in the co-main event of ONE 170, scheduled for Jan. 24, 2025, at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

There, another tough test awaits him as he puts his bantamweight Muay Thai crown on the line against #2-ranked contender Nico Carrillo.
