WATCH: Felipe Lobo brandishes his uncanny power in heart-pounding duel against champ-champ Jonathan Haggerty

Current number three-ranked ONE bantamweight Muay Thai contender Felipe Lobo marked one of the toughest challenges for reigning two-sport bantamweight world champion Jonathan Haggerty.

Lobo showed that he can hang with the reigning ONE bantamweight Muay Thai and kickboxing world champion during their fight at ONE Fight Night 19 in February 2024.

In the video, the 'Demolition Man' sits down 'The General' with a flurry of punches to the head and body in the opening round. This gave Haggerty a massive scare in his first defense of the bantamweight Muay Thai crown.

But despite the early success for the Brazilian striking star, Haggerty went on to score a third-round TKO finish that fended off the challenge of Lobo.

Felipe Lobo to face Nabil Anane at ONE Fight Night 24 on August 2

Following that tough defeat from Haggerty, Lobo is now looking to maintain his place in the division's top five, as he takes on the challenge of Nabil Anane on August 2 as part of the exciting ONE Fight Night 24 card inside the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

The Tiger Muay Thai athlete is gunning for his fourth win in ONE Championship, after previously beating the likes of Yodpanomrung Jitmuangnon, Rodlek PK Saenchai, and Saemapetch Fairtex. A win for Lobo could get him back on track for another world title challenge.

ONE Fight Night 24 will take place at Lumpinee Stadium and will air live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in North America in U.S. primetime.
