WATCH: Flyweight kickboxing king Superlek's dominant showing against Portuguese striker Rui Botelho
Superlek Kiatmoo9's second win in the ONE Championship was at Rui Botelho's expense in May 2019 at the ONE: Warriors of Light card, which happened inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
The promotion recently posted a video on Instagram reliving the best moments of the now-reigning ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion in a flyweight Muay Thai fight:
"Superlek gets it DONE 😎 Can the reigning ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Champion snatch the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai Title from Jonathan Haggerty at ONE 168: Denver? @superlek789"
As seen in the video, 'The Kicking Machine' lived up to his moniker and rained down signature leg kicks against the 29-year-old Portuguese striking star. Superlek even dropped him with a powerful elbow strike during the fight.
This masterful performance from the Kiatmoo9 Gym athlete eventually earned him a unanimous decision win to improve his tally to 2-0 under the world's largest martial arts organization.
Since this triumph over Botelho, Superlek went on to win 13 of his next 14 fights and captured the ONE flyweight kickboxing world title.
