WATCH: Flyweight Muay Thai king Rodtang Jitmuangnon enlists help of his wife Aida in preparation for Jacob Smith in Atlanta

ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon's most notable performances inside the circle are born out of his unique training camps with the help of his wife, professional Muay Thai fighter Aida Looksaikongdin.

Ahead of his defense of the 135-pound Muay Thai crown at ONE 169: Atlanta on November 8 inside the State Farm Arena against United Kingdom star Jacob Smith, ONE Championship shared Rodtang's recent training session with his wife on Instagram, with the accompanying caption:

"Wifey duties 🥰 Can Rodtang beat Jacob Smith for the second time on November 8 at ONE 169: Atlanta? 👀 @rodtang_jitmuangnon"

Aida has played a crucial role in helping Rodtang prepare his fights, most notably for his kickboxing barnburner with the legendary Denis Puric this past June at ONE 167. Rodtang won via unanimous decision to earn his 15th victory under the ONE banner.

Rodtang will now look to successfully defend the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world championship for a sixth time at ONE 169: Atlanta.


Rodtang not underestimating Jacob Smith ahead of rematch at ONE 169: Atlanta

Fans would be quick to count out Jacob Smith's chances at ONE 169: Atlanta on November 8 inside the State Farm Arena after losing to Rodtang in May 2022. However, the Thai great is not one to overlook any opponent, regardless of his history or lack thereof with them.

In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA, Rodtang had this to say about his upcoming world title tilt with the third-ranked ONE flyweight Muay Thai competitor:

"He's been evolving, improving every day. There's no reason to underestimate him, although I have won against him before."
