WATCH: Former bantamweight MMA king John Lineker's mad rush in Muay Thai debut against Asa Ten Pow
Former ONE bantamweight MMA world champion John Lineker proved that his power is undisputable regardless of what ruleset he is competing in.
Lineker made a statement in his Muay Thai debut when he defeated American contender Asa Ten Pow in their bantamweight Muay Thai showdown via second-round knockout this past weekend at the ONE 168: Denver, which went down at the Ball Arena in Colorado.
The fight highlights, and his post-fight interview was posted by ONE Championship on their YouTube channel, and they captioned the video:
"Former bantamweight MMA king John Lineker put on a dominant performance in his Muay Thai debut against American striker Asa Ten Pow at ONE 168: Denver!"
Right from the opening bell, 'The Hands of Stone' lived up to his moniker and let go of his hands by attacking the head and body of Ten Pow. Simultaneously, Lineker didn't respect the power that was swinging back in his direction and just continued to march forward with immense pressure.
This early barrage from the Brazilian knockout artists has made Ten Pow's nose leak with blood. Then, in the second round, Lineker uncorked more combinations until he finally landed a beautiful right-hand counterpunch straight to the jaw of 'The American Ninja' and floored him.
That punch also made him unable to continue, as he failed to beat the eight-count from the referee.

In his post-fight interview inside the circle, Lineker revealed that he is open to more opportunities under the world's largest martial arts organization. He even asked ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong to put him in a boxing match, as he stated:
"I want to say thank you to ONE, honestly, thanks to everybody here, I proved my name. 'Hands of Stone' and Chatri, put me to fight in [boxing]. I want to box."
