WATCH: French-Algerian icon Anissa Meksen flaunts her class in complete beatdown of Spanish star Cristina Morales

Former ONE interim atomweight kickboxing world title challenger Anissa Meksen sent shockwaves throughout the ONE Championship roster when she made her debut in September 2021 at ONE: Empower.

Meksen faced Cristina Morales in an atomweight kickboxing scrap, which took place inside the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Her winning moment was recently looked back by the promotion through an Instagram post that they captioned:

"Full throttle 🏎️ Can Anissa Meksen secure another knockout when she faces Jackie Buntan for the ONE Women's Strawweight Kickboxing World Title at ONE 169? @anissameksen"

'C18' landed a beautiful roundhouse kick to the side of the head of the Spanish striking star that wobbled her. Then, she gradually pressed with caution and showered Morales with several boxing combinations to inflict more damage.

Like a shark smelling blood from her prey, Meksen uncorked a thunderous left hook that sent the Team Jesus Cabello representative down on the mat. Although Morales was able to stand up from that beating, the referee halted the match because she hadn't fully recovered from that beating.

Anissa Meksen shares that her mother's unconditional love fuels her in every fight

The Korean Tiger Studios representative is now ready for her second crack at the 26-pound golden belt on Nov. 8 at ONE 169, where she faces Filipino-American star Jackie Buntan for the inaugural ONE women's strawweight kickboxing world title. The contest goes down inside the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Ahead of that championship showdown, Meksen spoke with ONE Championship in an interview and revealed that her biggest motivation is her mother, as she explained:

"My mother is my mother. It's unconditional love. She has a big heart. She's everything to me. She is in my heart every time. My mother was the first person I knew. She was my first love. She did everything for me as a child. She's amazing, simply."

ONE 169 airs live from the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Nov. 8, and North American viewers with an active Prime Video subscription can watch it for free.
