WATCH: French-Algerian legend Anissa Meksen shows her utmost class in dominant showing against Dangkongfah
French-Algerian fighter Anissa Meksen has had an impressive run so far in ONE Championship since coming on board in September 2021. She has won three of four matches, all in convincing fashion, including one over Thai Dangkongfah Banchamek by unanimous decision two years ago.
ONE relieved the dominant performance of 'C18' over Dangkofah on Sept. 30, 2022 at ONE on Prime Video 2 in Singapore in an Instagram post. The veteran fighter showcased her class and vast arsenal as she steadily tore down her opponent en route to the decision victory.
The post was in line with Anissa Meksen's scheduled title bid for the inaugural women's strawweight kickboxing world title at ONE 169: Malykhin vs. 'Reug Reug' on Nov. 8 at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

At ONE 169, Anissa Meksen will make another go at a ONE world title against Filipino-American fighter Jackie Buntan. It comes on the heels of her failed bid for the ONE interim atomweight kickboxing world title in her last match in December 2023, where she lost by decision to Thai sensation Phetjeeja.
The clash is one of three world title fights on offer at ONE 169, which will be aired live and for free in U.S. primetime to North American fans with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.
Anissa Meksen in best shape for title match against Jackie Buntan
Anissa Meksen said she is in the best shape possible for her scheduled title clash against Jackie Buntan at ONE 169 on Nov. 8 in Thailand.
In an interview with ONE Championship, the 36-year-old French striker said that her preparation has gone smoothly and she is confident of performing well comne fight night.
Meksen said:
"My camp is the same every time, but of course, I adapt my style against my opponent. I'm in my best shape now. I've trained hard, and everything is perfect."
Anissa Maksen was last in action in December 2023, where she lost by decision to Thai star striker Phetjeeja for the ONE interim atomweight kickboxing world title, providing added motivation for her to come up with a win at ONE 169.
