WATCH: How Superlek Kiatmoo9 added one of Takeru Segawa's trademark front kicks into his arsenal

Newly minted two-sport world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 is not only beating every opponent that ONE Championship is putting in front of him, but he also learns from them.

One solid evidence of this is the front kick he acquired from Japanese superstar Takeru Segawa when they fought in January 2024 at ONE 165 for the ONE flyweight kickboxing world title at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan.

In a recent Instagram post by the world's largest martial arts organization, 'The Kicking Machine' demonstrated that technique to ONE Championship commentator Mitch Chilson and how he used it in his next fight.

They wrote the video's caption with:

"Adding to the arsenal 😎 Who's next in line for Superlek? 🤔 @superlek789 @mitchchilson"

Superlek was hurt by the Mika Zuki Geri or the kick to the body using the toes when 'The Natural Born Crusher' attempted it against him, and he immediately added it to his striking arsenal, which he used during his bout with Kongthoranee Sor Sommai in June 2024 at ONE Friday Fights 68.

Former bantamweight Muay Thai king Nong-O Hama thinks that Superlek is hard to stop right now

With the current form and previous performance that Superlek had when he knocked out Jonathan Haggerty in just 49 seconds to become the new king of the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai division in the headliner of ONE 168: Denver on Sept. 6 at the Ball Arena in Colorado, Nong-O believes that anyone who attempts to dethrone him will go through a hard time.

According to the former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion, Superlek is at the peak of his career right now, and he shared his thoughts about him during a recent interview with the South China Morning Post:

"I think Superlek at this moment, he's great. I think he has the best body right now. He has the best confidence. He has a great winning streak. It will be hard for someone to stop him."
