WATCH: Interim featherweight kickboxing champ Superbon showcases his subtle trick to prevent getting dumped
Current interim ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion Superbon shared a subtle trick to keep yourself from getting dumped in a fight.
After surrendering the undisputed featherweight kickboxing crown in January 2023, Superbon can once again call himself a ONE world champion, scoring a second straight win over longtime rival Marat Grigorian at ONE Friday Fights 58 to become the division's new interim titleholder.
With the win, the Thai superstar is all but guaranteed a rematch with the current champion Chingiz Allazov. When and where that takes place remains to be seen, but in the interim — no pun intended — Superbon is putting in work at the gym and sharing some secrets with other current and aspiring fighters.
"Did you catch the adjustment?" the promotion wrote on Instagram accompanied by the video clip
With 115 career wins to his credit and 26 pounds of interim gold wrapped around his waist, Superbon is now the No. 1 ranked contender in both the featherweight Muay Thai and kickboxing divisions.
Superbon confident he ran away with his third meeting against Marat Grigorian
Speaking with Sportskeeda MMA following his win over the three-time GLORY Kickboxing champion, Superbon believes that he walked away with all five rounds in his back pocket.
"I think I won every round with my weapons. I hurt him with low kicks, I hurt him to the body and every time, he cannot protect my knees to the body. And you can hear in the stadium, it was bang bang, [which means] it is a lot of power to hurt him in the body."
Whether you agree or not, Superbon once again displayed why he is one of the greatest pound-for-pound kickboxers on the planet. The only question now is, what's next for the Thai fan favorite?
