WATCH: Jake Paul and The Schmo hug out their fake rivalry from old viral video
Jake Paul and The Schmo made a fake altercation video in response to rumors about a rivalry between the two. UFC lightweight contender Terrance McKinney recently shared a video of a fight between two unknown men, resembling Paul and The Schmo. 'Twrecks' wrote in the caption:
"The Schmo pieced up Jake Paul π₯π₯π₯"
While McKinney went on to clarify that he was joking, many people had already bought into the Paul vs. The Schmo story. The duo recently got together for a fake altercation video that ended with them hugging each other.
The clarification video could be deemed necessary as not everyone seemingly got McKinney's joke. Even amongst the ones that did, some had to rewatch the original video.
The recent clarification video from The Schmo and Paul did not go unnoticed by Terrance McKinney, who expressed his gratitude to the duo for being absolutely sporty about the whole thing. The UFC fighter wrote:
"NGL Jake Paul and The Schmo made a skit cause I shared a video of 2 ppl who look like them fighting is pretty hilarious and I appreciate them seein the humor in it"
Latest UFC veteran to call out Jake Paul
Jake Paul continues to be a lucrative opponent for retired fighters or at least fighters who are well past their prime. After defeating a washed-out Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley, and Anderson Silva, Paul now has the opportunity to take on yet another UFC veteran.
Recently retired Donald Cerrone is the latest fighter to call out 'The Problem Child' in hopes of a big payday. 'Cowboy,' however, refused to undermine Paul, who, according to him, has a legitimate skillset. The 39-year-old said in a recent interview with Brendan Schaub:
βWould I like to fight him? F**k, of course. How could I say no to f-cking millions of dollars. So I would definitely go out there and do it. But Iβm not sitting over here and saying, βJake, youβre a f**cking YouTuber, ainβt worth a f**k.β Nah, man. Youβre making money. Make the f**cking money. And if you want to throw some of that money my way, Iβm with you.β

Donald Cerrone hung up his gloves for good after a submission loss against Jim Miller in July. 'Cowboy' retired on a six-fight losing streak and a 36-17 overall record.
