WATCH: Japanese icon Takeru Segawa shows off his power in fast-paced sparring sessions in California
Japanese superstar Takeru Segawa is a champion in honing and developing his martial arts skills, and a recent video posted by ONE Championship has proven this.
The world's largest martial arts organization reposted the video of Takeru's training sessions in California from a few months back, and they wrote the short clip's caption with:
"Grinding away 🥊 Who do you think would be a good opponent for Takeru at ONE Friday Fights 81? @k1takeru"
As seen in the video, 'The Natural Born Crusher' was pitted against multiple sparring partners inside the Boxing Works gym, and he was showering them with powerful and accurate punches.
These strikes even stunned all of his sparring partners and they were clipped multiple times.
Takeru is coming off an unsuccessful world championship challenge against Superlek Kiatmoo9 during their ONE flyweight kickboxing world title showdown at ONE 165 in January, which went down inside the Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan.
Despite the defeat in front of his home crowd, the former multi-division K1 world champion won the hearts of fans due to his incredible grit against 'The Kicking Machine'.
