WATCH: Japanese legend Takeru Segawa shows off his blinding speed in intense padwork session in California

Since bursting onto the kickboxing scene in 2009, Japanese sensation Takeru Segawa has never shied away from relying on his lightning-fast punching speed to batter his opponents into submission and fans got a look at how he developed such quick hands.

'The Natural Born Crusher' spent the past month improving his boxing skills with the help of Southern California-based Boxing Works which has housed the likes of ONE Muay Thai star Jackie Buntan and recently retired ONE atomweight kickboxing and interim atomweight Muay Thai world champion Janet Todd.

ONE Championship shared one of Takeru's training sessions on Instagram and his punches look faster than ever.

Takeru had his ONE Championship debut this past January at ONE 165 when he challenged Superlek Kiatmoo9 for the ONE flyweight kickboxing world title which lasted all five rounds.

Though he had his shining moments in the contest, 'The Kicking Machine' enacted a game plan focused on taking out his legs and when the final bell rang, the Thai star was declared the winner via unanimous decision.

Despite the bout happening in January, fans had already crowned it as the best kickboxing contest of the year because of how action-packed it was.

Takeru sheds light on intense training camp in the United States

Though Takeru has not yet been announced for a ONE Championship card for the rest of the year, the second-ranked ONE flyweight kickboxing competitor is already going all-out in training camp.

Takeru posted a photo of himself on Instagram with the following caption:

"Views from training camp in the USA. Five vs. one, 11-round sparring in a row 🔥 My whole body is shattered, though. We had a great training camp in preparation for the next match."
