ONE Championship megastars Jonathan Haggerty and Rodtang Jitmuangnon had two of the most action-packed matchups held under the ONE banner in the first half of 2024.
'The General', who holds the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai and kickboxing world championships, defended his Muay Thai crown in spectacular fashion against Brazilian star Felipe Lobo with a come-from-behind TKO victory this past February.
As for the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion, Rodtang had a brutal catchweight (141.25 pounds) kickboxing war last month against Denis Puric, which 'The Iron Man' won via unanimous decision.

The Jitmuangnon Gym product is responsible for the only two losses on Haggerty's otherwise perfect record in the world's largest martial arts promotion.
Earlier this year, Rodtang and Haggerty even teased a trilogy bout happening sometime soon. This could very well become a reality, as both men have gone on incredible runs since they last shared the ring with each other.

While there is no sign as to when that trilogy fight will happen, fans will have an opportunity to see both Jonathan Haggerty and Rodtang back in action before the year ends.
On September 6 inside the Ball Arena at ONE 168: Denver, Haggerty will defend the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world championship against ONE flyweight kickboxing king Superlek Kiatmoo9.
Meanwhile, the State Farm Arena in Atlanta will see Rodtang put his 26 pounds of ONE Championship gold on the line against third-ranked flyweight Muay Thai competitor Jacob Smith at ONE 169: Atlanta on November 8.
