WATCH: Jonathan Haggerty's calculated beatdown of Japanese striker Taiki Naito in Singapore

Jonathan Haggerty proved he's not only a very technical fighter when he fought Taiki Naito in a flyweight Muay Thai contest in December 2020 at ONE Big Bang II, which went down at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Haggerty's highlights during the match were relived by ONE Championship through a recent Instagram post that was captioned:

The now-reigning ONE bantamweight Muay Thai and kickboxing world champion displayed his incredible combination of speed and power throughout the match. Haggerty's biggest moments were the two knockdowns he scored over the Japanese star, which significantly helped him secure the unanimous decision nod from the judges.

It was his third victory in the world's largest martial arts organization and his bounce-back win after losing back-to-back world title fights to Rodtang Jitmuangnon for the ONE flyweight Muay Thai gold.

Jonathan Haggerty gives respect to Felipe Lobo for a great fight he gave him at ONE Fight Night 19

The British combat sports superstar is coming off a come-from-behind victory against Felipe Lobo in their world championship clash at ONE Fight Night 19 in February 2024. He came back from a knockdown to flip the script and eventually get the third-round TKO finish to retain his Muay Thai throne.

Haggerty talked about his performance during that fight in a recent episode of a vlog from his YouTube channel and how he respects 'The Demolition Man' for giving him a great fight as he stated:

"I just knew from that moment that I was just built different, get back up. Definitely respect there for Lobo. He gave me a great fight. You always need a dance partner in there. So respect, this one meant a lot to me."

Jonathan Haggerty now prepares to defend his bantamweight Muay Thai throne against ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 in the main event of ONE 168: Denver.

ONE 168: Denver will transpire from the Ball Arena in Colorado on Sept. 6. Tickets for the event are available on Ticketmaster.
