WATCH: Kade Ruotolo makes Francisco Lo pay for face-off shove with nasty submission at ONE Fight Night 21

ONE lightweight submission grappling world champion Kade Ruotolo needs no extra motivation every time he steps inside the Circle or the ring, but Francisco Lo made the mistake of waking up the monster.

Before the two submission grappling stars locked horns in the undercard of ONE Fight Night 21 this past April, 'Chico' made things extra chippy in the pre-fight face-offs by shoving Ruotolo off the platform that forced ONE personnel to step in between them.

Ruotolo gave fans a taste of what happens to those who play such games with him by rushing the Brazilian star midway through the contest and cinched in a submission that he has since dubbed the 'Ruotolotine'.

Check out Kade Ruotolo's masterful finish of Francisco Lo as posted by ONE Championship on Instagram.

Aside from making Lo pay for his pre-fight antics, picking up the victory made it his sixth-straight victory under the world's largest martial arts promotion with the bonus of it being his second submission finish.

Kade Ruotolo gives ONE 168 opponent high praise

Kade Ruotolo will have the third defense of his ONE lightweight submission grappling world championship at ONE 168: Denver on September 6 inside the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado against his toughest opponent yet - Mikey Musumeci.

The ONE flyweight submission grappling world titlist is coming off a stellar victory over Gabriel Sousa this past June at ONE 167 and Ruotolo is honored to share the Circle with him.

Ruotolo told ONE flyweight MMA world champ Demetrious Johnson on MightyCast:

"Again, it's just another one to put on the record. Mikey, a lot of people consider him pound-for-pound one of the greatest. He's had a lot of amazing wins over a lot of amazing people."

Tickets for ONE 168: Denver are available via Ticketmaster.
