Reigning and undisputed ONE lightweight submission grappling world champion Kade Ruotolo of the United States, along with twin brother Tye Ruotolo, the ONE welterweight submission grappling king, are known as child prodigies in the 'gentle art'.

BJJ black belts at the age of 18, the Ruotolo brothers have been training since they were eight years old. Now, they are world champions in ONE Championship, both men unbeaten in the world's largest martial arts organization.

Kade Ruotolo continues his journey in ONE early next month when he takes on a fellow grappling prodigy.

The 21-year-old Atos jiu-jitsu product is set to defend his ONE lightweight submission grappling world title against ONE flyweight submission grappling king 'Darth Rigatoni' Mikey Musumeci.

The two lock horns at ONE 168: Denver, which broadcasts live from the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado on Friday, Sept. 6.

Kade Ruotolo plans return to mixed martial arts after Mikey Musumeci showdown: "We should try to do it again as soon as possible"

Lightweight submission grappling king Kade Ruotolo made his professional mixed martial arts debut at ONE 167 on Prime Video last June, defeating Blake Cooper via first-round rear-naked choke.

Ruotolo has always dreamed of transitioning to MMA and becoming a world champion there, and after he gets done with Mikey Musumeci at ONE 168: Denver, the 21-year-old wants another MMA fight in short order.

He told Cageside Press in a recent interview:

"The main thing is we should try to do it again as soon as possible. I told the whole ONE team, I don't care who it is, just try to get me a matchup ASAP."
