Watch: Michael Chandler gives his children hilarious advice as he counts down brutal injuries received at UFC 281 - "I would not engage in the profession that your father has chosen"
Michael Chandler seems to be in good spirits after his back-and-forth war with Dustin Poirier at UFC 281.
'Iron' uploaded a video on social media, during which he can be seen having a light-hearted discussion with his children. Chandler, with his face covered in an ice mask, was recounting his fight at UFC 281.
The former three-time Bellator champion advised his kids not to participate in combat sports when they grow up:
"Well sons, it appears that your father has engaged in another spectacular hand-to-hand combat at UFC 281 in New York City. Now, a couple of things I'd like to point out, my right foot is extremely swollen. Now part of that is the altitude on the airplane coming back. Secondly, my face has stitches and two balck eyes, and a lot of swelling. I would like to say, I would not engage in the profession that your father has chosen, although it does provide a wonderful life for you. End of story. God Bless. And i will see you at the [top]."

Michael Chandler asks Conor McGregor to fight him upon his return
Michael Chandler has gone on record multiple times to express his interest in fighting Irish superstar Conor McGregor.
During the UFC 281 post-fight press conference, 'Iron' once again asked the former two-division champion to return to his "first love" and fight him upon his return:
"He's a legend in the sport man. He's the biggest name in the sport, it was bad enough we had to compete with Bentleys and Buggatis and boats or 100 million dollar whiskey companies. Now we gotta compete with the silver screens and bright lights of Hollywood. But come back to your first love, Conor. Step inside the octagon with me."
