ONE Championship superstar Roberto Soldic was never one to be trifled with. The Croatian sensation has been writing names and taking souls since he was with KSW, and one of the victims on his hit list is Dricus du Plessis.
The pair had one of the most intense rivalries in the European regional circuit, and Soldic remains the last person to send du Plessis to the shadow realm. Soldic and du Plessis met twice in 2018, with 'Robocop' taking the last laugh in their fiery rivalry under KSW.
Both fighters are renowned knockout merchants, but it was Soldic who unleashed the hammer in their rematch in London in 2018.
Roberto Soldic unloaded multiple unanswered punches straight to Du Plessis' dome before the referee stepped in to stop the match 2:33 into the third round.

Soldic ultimately captured the KSW welterweight title in his knockout win over Du Plessis and kickstarted a seven-fight winning streak in the promotion before arriving at ONE Championship in 2022.
Overall, Soldic holds an impressive 20-4 record, with 17 of his victories coming via knockout.
Soldic also captured the KSW middleweight throne in his last fight in the promotion when he knocked out Mamed Khalidov in the second round of their Poland matchup.
Roberto Soldic's trainer hints at his next match in ONE Championship
Roberto Soldic has yet to establish his dominance in ONE Championship, but that statement could be quickly proven false once he steps inside the Circle.
UFD Gym co-founder Ivan Dijakovic hinted on Instagram that Soldic is just waiting for the paperwork to be signed.
Dijakovic, who serves as Soldic's trainer, wrote in his post:
"It's been quiet for a long time about @soldicmma. Prepare for the return of Robocop. We've never chosen our opponents, we've never rejected opponents. Roberto always wants to fight against the best possible opponents, the fight date and opponent are set, we're waiting for the fight contract! #robocop #fightnewscomingsoon"
