WATCH: Oumar 'Reug Reug' Kane showcases his brutal grappling, shatters a baseball bat to pieces with heel hook simulation
ONE heavyweight MMA star Oumar 'Reug Reug' Kane gave combat sports fans a look into how much power he possesses by simulating a heel hook with the help of a baseball bat.
The world's largest martial arts promotion shared a video on Instagram of the Senegalese standout easily snapping the bat in half, with the accompanying caption:
"No escape 🦵 How will Reug Reug's grappling fare against Anatoly Malykhin when they battle for the ONE Heavyweight MMA World Title at ONE 169? @reugreug"
While Kane is yet to post a submission victory in his ONE Championship tenure, he has thoroughly dominated the 265-pound MMA division by posting three highlight-reel TKO finishes in his five victories.
In August 2023, Kane showed the full extent of his abilities by going the distance in a landmark victory over 17-time Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ) world champion Marcus 'Buchecha' Almeida.
The 971 MMA and Black Panther Sports fighter could showcase his submission prowess when he challenges three-division MMA king Anatoly Malykhin for the ONE heavyweight MMA world championship at ONE 169: Malykhin vs. 'Reug Reug' on Nov. 8 inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
