WATCH: Prajanchai PK Saenchai's intense training that propelled him to world title success in ONE Championship
A lot of things need to go right for a pro fighter to become a world champion and under ONE Muay Thai megastar Prajanchai PK Saenchai has certainly paid his dues.
Still just 29 years old, Prajanchai has fought in nearly 400 fights and has been on the winning side 342 times with his star reaching even greater heights under ONE Championship with a record of 5-1 since joining in 2021.
Prajanchai claimed the ONE strawweight Muay Thai world championship on three separate occasions, a status that he currently holds, but few know how much work he put in behind the scenes.
ONE Championship shared a montage of the PK Saenchai Muay Thai Gym's insane work ethic, and it should be no surprise that he is as successful as he is.
In his most recent outing under the world's largest martial arts promotion, Prajanchai solidified his reign over the strawweight Muay Thai division when he upended Italian rival Joseph Lasiri via knockout in their unification bout this past December.
Prajanchai comments on importance of potential ONE two-sport dominance
The Thai great is eyeing to add the currently vacant strawweight kickboxing world title to his long list of accomplishments by coming out victorious at ONE Friday Fights 68 on Friday, June 28, inside the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Despite his opponent, Jonathan Di Bella, eager to reclaim his ONE world title, Prajanchai believes winning it will help him ascend to a different echelon.
He told ONE Championship:
"I don't think there's going to be any change in my career. I definitely want to stick to Muay Thai. But getting this belt is like another level for me to achieve."
