ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon and Denis Puric starred in a superb catchweight (141.25 pounds) kickboxing bout at ONE 167 this past June inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

Rodtang threw lightning-quick combos while 'The Bosnian Menace' prevented the Thai hero from seizing complete control of the fight by landing counterblows. After an epic three-round encounter, 'The Iron Man' was awarded the victory via unanimous decision.

Rodtang and the Team CSK star hung out together after their three-round classic, proving that any issues they had towards one another were just business.

By defeating Puric, the Jitmuangnon Gym star earned his 15th win in the world's largest martial arts promotion. However, his upcoming bout could be his toughest yet.

Rodtang is eyeing a sixth successful defense of the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world championship when he faces Jacob Smith in the co-main event of ONE 169: Malykhin vs. Reug Reug on Nov. 8 inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Jacob Smith refuses to share game plan against Rodtang

Jacob Smith, who lost to Rodtang in his promotional debut in May 2022, remains tight-lipped about the strategy that he and his team have developed against the Thai hero ahead of ONE 169.

In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA, the third-ranked ONE flyweight Muay Thai contender stated:

"I'm not going to tell you what I'm doing in my fight camp or what I have done in my fight camp to overcome Rodtang. You guys just gotta witness it in the fight."
