WATCH: Rodtang Jitmuangnon puts two-time taekwondo Olympic champ Panipak through the wringer in Muay Thai training

What separates ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon from his peers is his willingness to learn from other disciplines. He recently exchanged knowledge with two-time taekwondo Olympic gold medalist Panipak Wongpattanakit.

In a video shared by Panipak on Instagram, she and 'The Iron Man' had a light-hearted sparring session. The 27-year-old flexed her taekwondo skills, while Rodtang showcased his near-perfect Muay Thai technique.

Rodtang mixing things up in training is nothing new to fans, as he has repeatedly enlisted the help of his wife and professional Muay Thai fighter Aida Looksaikongdin to prepare for his marquee bouts.

While unorthodox for many other fighters, it has proven beneficial to Rodtang, who has earned 15 victories with three finishes in 17 total fights under the ONE banner.

For his next foray inside the circle, the Jitmuangnon Gym star will defend the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world championship against Jacob Smith at ONE 169: Malykhin vs. Reug Reug on Nov. 8 inside the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Jacob Smith outlines his advantages against Rodtang

United Kingdom star Jacob Smith plans to leverage his speed into pulling off the upset against Rodtang at ONE 169 and leave with 26 pounds of flyweight Muay Thai gold around his waist.

In an interview with Sportskeeda MMA, the third-ranked ONE flyweight Muay Thai fighter stated:

"I'm not going to say that I'm better than Rodtang at this, that, or the other. I would say my advantages over him would be speed and hunger and just being as strong as him."

ONE 169 emanates live from the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. The event will air live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
