The second victory of Tagir Khalilov in ONE Championship was at the expense of Thai star Black Panther when they fought in March 2023 at ONE Friday Fights 9, which took place inside the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Khalilov's winning moment was relived by the world's largest martial arts organization by posting it on Instagram recently, and they wrote its caption with:

"Folded 😖 Can Tagir Khalilov knocks out Kongthoranee when they throw down at ONE 169? @samingpri_muaythai"

In the video, 'Samingpri' connected a picture-perfect right-hand punch straight on the Team Mehdi Zatout representative's body that instantly folded him like an origami.

This also marked the end of the match and secured him the opening-round knockout victory.

Since then, the Russian powerhouse has fought three more times in the promotion.

Tagir Khalilov to face Kongthoranee Sor Sommai at ONE 169

The Archangel Michel and Samingpri Muay Thai Gym representative is now ready to return to action on Nov. 8. He will face Kongthoranee Sor Sommai in a flyweight Muay Thai scrap at ONE 169, which will take place inside the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Khalilov looks to return to the win column, hand Kongthoranee his third loss in ONE Championship, and potentially start another run toward another shot for the coveted ONE flyweight Muay Thai world title that currently sits inside Rodtang Jitmuangnon's trophy cabinet.
