WATCH: Senegalese wrestling machine 'Reug Reug' flaunts his brute strength in training camp ahead of ONE 169
Upcoming ONE heavyweight MMA world title challenger Oumar 'Reug Reug' Kane is out to prove that he can match the atomic power that reigning three-division MMA world champion Anatoly Malykhin possesses.
In a recent Instagram post by ONE Championship, Kane showcased his incredible power and strength ahead of his world title challenge against Malykhin for the ONE heavyweight MMA world title in the main event of the ONE 169 card, which will take place at the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Nov. 8.
The world's largest martial arts organization captioned the video, saying:
"Reug Reug in beast mode 🏋️♂️ Will the Senegalese powerhouse dethrone heavyweight MMA king Anatoly Malykhin at ONE 169? @ruegreug"
In the video, 'Reug Reug' was seen lifting one of his coaches on his shoulders while climbing a sand mountain in the desert. This highlighted the brute strength of the Senegalese combat sports superstar.
Currently, he is riding a four-fight win streak and beating the likes of Batradz GazzaevONE 161, Jasur Mirzamukhamedov ONE on Prime Video 5, and Marcus 'Buchecha' Almeida ONE Fight Night 13.
His most recent victim was fellow Senegalese Boucher Ketchup, whom he knocked out in the first round of their heavyweight kickboxing showdown at ONE Fight Night 23 last July.
'Reug Reug' wants to be the first athlete to hand Anatoly Malykhin his first MMA defeat
Aside from realizing his dream of becoming a world champion, the 971 MMA and Black Panther Sports representative is looking to become the first fighter to give the reigning ONE middleweight, light heavyweight, and heavyweight MMA world champion his first and only professional defeat.
Other fighters who tried to take the donut of Malykhin were Alexandre Machado, Amir Aliakbari, Kirill Grishenko, Reinier de Ridder, and Arjan Bhullar.
ONE 169 is available live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
