Reigning and undisputed ONE bantamweight Muay Thai and kickboxing world champion 'The General' Jonathan Haggerty of the United Kingdom is a rare two-sport titleholder in the world's largest martial arts organization.
And it all started with his conquest of legendary Thai fighter Nong-O Hama.
Haggerty shocked the world with his April 2023 first-round annihilation of Nong-O at ONE Fight Night 9 on Prime Video. That night, 'The General' looked as sharp as ever and delivered a savage beatdown on the Thai icon.
ONE Championship posted the knockout sequence, including the right hand that ended matters abruptly, in glorious slow-motion.

Two-sport king 'The General' Jonathan Haggerty is set to defend his ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title against flyweight kickboxing king 'The Kicking Machine' Superlek Kiatmoo9 of Thailand.
The two go to war at ONE 168: Denver, which broadcasts live from the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado, on Friday, September 6th.

'The General' Jonathan Haggerty has certainly had a wild ride so far in the world's largest martial arts organization. The 27-year-old took a moment to reflect on his career thus far and shared his thoughts in a YouTube video on his official channel.
'The General' said:
"I've been through a lot of emotions during my career at ONE Championship from the debut, the thousands of people, to overcome that, to changing weight, the categories, to missing weight, to getting knocked down and becoming the bantamweight champion, not only in Muay Thai, but kickboxing as well. It's character building. This made me who I am today, and I wouldn't change it for the world, not even the losses because, like I said, the losses, I've learned more from than most wins. It's normal to lose sometimes. It just matters how big you come back."
