WATCH: 'Smokin' Jo Nattawut unleashes pure power in Muay Thai barnburner against Tawanchai in Bangkok

ONE Championship star 'Smokin' Jo Nattawut made sure ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai felt his power in their world title clash this past June.

After absorbing a razor-thin unanimous decision loss to Tawanchai in October 2023 under kickboxing rules, Nattawut was keen to exact his revenge by knocking him off the featherweight Muay Thai throne.

Nattawut threw strikes at full power whenever Tawanchai would leave a small opening in his defense, leading to some of the hardest hits that he has landed under the ONE banner.

Though the Thai Top Team product was firing on all cylinders, Tawanchai's measured approach and ring generalship led to him retaining the ONE featherweight Muay Thai crown via majority decision.

Despite the heartbreaking defeat, the 35-year-old will have another shot at Tawanchai and the ONE featherweight Muay Thai world championship at ONE 169: Atlanta on November 8 inside the State Farm Arena.

Tickets for ONE 169 are available here.

Jo Nattawut set for superfight ahead of ONE 169

Before his trilogy bout with Tawanchai at ONE 169, Jo Nattawut will face ONE interim featherweight kickboxing world champion Superbon in a featherweight Muay Thai bout at ONE Friday Fights 81 on September 27.

Superbon is coming off a trilogy fight of his own this past April, defeating longtime rival Marat Grigorian to win the interim featherweight kickboxing crown in an epic five-round battle.

ONE Friday Fights 81 will emanate from the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. The full card is available live on pay-per-view at watch.onefc.com.
