WATCH: South Korean knockout machine Kang Ji Won sends Paul Elliott to the shadow realm with skull-crushing precision

South Korean knockout machine Kang Ji Wong was able to replicate what he does so well against brawling heavyweights.

The 'Mighty Warrior' caught the attention of the world when he outclassed British juggernaut 'The King of the North' Paul Elliott with a smashing second-round KO, in his fourth appearance under the ONE banner.

After suffering a submission loss to BJJ legend Marcus Almeida in the fight before, Wong made sure to remind everyone what he's truly capable of.

In light of his next match at ONE Championship with another equally thrilling heavyweight matchup at ONE Fight Night 23, watch the South Korean standout send Paul Elliott into the shadow realm below:

On July 5, US primetime, Kang Ji Won also plans to outclass Kirill Grishenko at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium, Bangkok.

The Wang Ho Academy representative is riding a bit of momentum following his master-class finish of Mikhail Jamal Abdul-Latif earlier this year at ONE Fight Night 18.

So, despite Grishenko's amazing striking arsenal, Kang Ji Won also showed that he has the tools to compete at his level.

ONE Fight Night 23 is available live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.

"I knew that would be the right choice for me" - Kang Ji Won says that nothing brings him more joy than being a professional mixed martial artist

Heavyweight hard-hitter Kang Ji Won never wanted to be anything else but a professional mixed martial artist when he began his journey long ago.

Back in the day, MMA wasn't as popular as it is today. Thanks to many other global organizations in the world, the discipline has become a legitimate sport in recent years. That's why Kang Ji Won, like many others, had a tough time telling people this was what he wanted to do.

Speaking to ONE, he said:

"Despite the possibility of not being able to make as much money if I became a pro athlete, I wanted to live my life doing something that I was passionate about. I knew that would be the right choice for me, and I've been walking this path ever since."
