WATCH: Superbon unleashes a brutal collection of head kicks in picture-perfect KO win over Tayfun Ozcan in Bangkok
ONE interim featherweight kickboxing world champion Superbon has a wealth of world-class performances in his illustrious career, and he gave ONE Championship fans an instant classic in June 2023 at ONE Fight Night 11.
The head of Superbon Training Camp squared off with Dutch-Turkish star Tayfun Ozcan in what many fans expected to be an all-out war for the full three rounds.
Though Superbon tends to fight methodically, he unleashed an unearthly barrage of head kicks against 'Turbine' during their clash where one big head kick counter in round two finally broke through Ozcan's defense, giving Superbon the knockout victory.
ONE shared Superbon's nonstop head kicks against Ozcan on Instagram, which can be viewed below.
In his most recent outing, Superbon closed the book on his long-standing rivalry with Armenian star Marat Grigorian at ONE Friday Fights 58 this past April with a unanimous decision win - his fifth victory under the world's largest martial arts promotion.
Not only did he defeat Grigorian for the second time in their trilogy of clashes, but Superbon also took home the interim featherweight kickboxing world title.
Superbon set to compete in ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix
The 33-year-old Thai superstar will look to add another feather in his cap as he will participate in the hotly anticipated ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix which is set to happen sometime later this year.
Superbon will be on one side of the bracket while ONE featherweight kickboxing world champ Chingiz Allazov will be on the other as reported by Sportskeeda MMA's Nic Atkin.
Should they face each other in the finals of the tournament, Superbon will have a chance to avenge his January 2023 second-round knockout loss to Allazov when he lost the featherweight kickboxing world title.
