WATCH: Superlek holds nothing back in his training camp ahead of Denver super fight against Jonathan Haggerty
Current undisputed ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 is looking ready for his upcoming world title match against two-sport world champion Jonathan Haggerty.
Superlek will be challenging Haggerty for the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title at ONE 168: Denver on September 6 in front of the Ball Arena crowd in Colorado.
In a recent video posted by ONE Championship on Instagram, the Thai superstar was seen perfecting his knee game, as the promotion captioned the clip with:
"Don't get trapped by 'The Kicking Machine' 😵 Is Superlek ready to claim the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Championship against Jonathan Haggerty at ONE 168: Denver? @superlek789"
In the video, 'The Kicking Machine' lands multiple solid knee strikes in the clinch against his training partner. These powerful strikes have made his teammate grin in pain during and after the sequence.
This is another testament to Superlek's accuracy, power, and diverse weapons, which he intends to use against 'The General' on fight night. He is coming off a masterful unanimous decision victory against Kongthoranee Sor Sommai on June 28 at ONE Friday Fights 68.
Superlek wants to reassert mastery over Jonathan Haggerty at ONE 168: Denver
This upcoming fight with Haggerty is actually the second time for Superlek, as they already crossed paths in 2018. In that Yokkao fight, Superlek scored a TKO finish over the British star following a massive cut on his face.
Six years later, the Kiatmoo9 Gym representative is looking to reassert his mastery over Haggerty en route to becoming the latest member of the world's largest martial arts organization's exclusive club of two-sport and two-division world champion.
ONE 168: Denver will air live from the Ball Arena in U.S. primetime on Sept. 6. Tickets for the event are available on Ticketmaster.
