WATCH: Superlek takes downloading information to the next level, adds Takeru's front kick to his arsenal
Superlek Kiatmoo9 has been on an incredible run in recent times. The scary part about it is that he's only getting better.
'The Kicking Machine' has been considered to be one of the very best for some time, but like all elite athletes, he's continuing to evolve. The two-weight and two-sport world champion is always adding new elements to his game and sharpening the weapons that he already brings to the table.
At ONE 165 earlier this year, he went toe-to-toe with Japanese star Takeru Segawa in a defense of his flyweight kickboxing title. Though he was able to earn the victory on that night, largely thanks to his devastating leg kicks, his opponent had moments also.
Takeru was able to hurt the champion with several well-timed body kicks that the Thai striker didn't have an answer for. Having been on the opposite end of them, the champ took this technique for himself.
In his next contest at ONE Friday Fights 68 in June, he used the very same kicks against Kongthoranee Sor Sommai to show how he is constantly adapting at this stage in his career.

Superlek is dangerous in all aspects of the game
His last three fights have shown why Superlek is so dangerous despite not being known for his knockout power.
Against Takeru, it was his investment in the leg kicks early on that really defined the fight and forced his opponent to try and turn the tide.
When facing Kongthoranee, it was a wide range of kicks that had him control the fight throughout the entire duration.
Finally, against Jonathan Haggerty in the main event of ONE 168, it was just one well-timed elbow that ended the fight in under a minute.
The champion has proven himself to be one of the most well-rounded fighters in the world right now.
