Throughout the history of ONE Championship, fans have witnessed multiple spectacular head-kick knockouts from the best athletes in the world.
Leading this highlight reel are current ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai and ONE interim featherweight kickboxing world champion Superbon.
ONE Championship published a five-slide video post on Instagram that featured the best head-kick finishes,. The caption reads:
"The perfect headshot doesn't exis- 🦶💥😱 Which one is your favorite head kick knockout?"
Featured in the post were Tawanchai's debut knockout win over Sean Clancy in May 2021 at ONE: Dangal and Superbon's victories over Tayfun Ozcan in June 2023 at ONE Fight Night 11 and Giorgio Petrosyan in October 2021 at ONE: First Strike.
These finishes instantly helped them become crowd favorites and earned them the reputation as some of the promotion's finest and most exciting martial artists. The two striking maestros were also pitted against each other in December 2023 at ONE Friday Fights 46 for the ONE featherweight Muay Thai world title.
As expected the two put up an incredible fight that instantly became a classic, but eventually, the PK Saenchai Muaythaigym representative eked out a majority decision victory to retain his 26-pound golden belt.
Tawanchai to fight Jo Nattawut for the third time at ONE 169: Atlanta on November 8
After Tawanchai defeated Superbon, he fought Jo Nattawut for another world title in their rematch at ONE 167 on June 7. The close majority decision result intensified the call for a trilogy fight between the two Thai stars, and the world's largest martial arts organization granted it.
The 25-year-old phenom is now preparing for a third meeting with 'Smokin'' Jo on November 8 as part of the loaded ONE 169: Atlanta card, which goes down inside the State Farm Arena.
Tawanchai aims to extend his rule in the division and finally close this chapter with Nattawut with a convincing win.
