WATCH: Thai legend Nong-O Hama's collection of bone-crushing and soul-snatching finishes in ONE Championship
Former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion Nong-O Hama will return to action on Sept. 27 at ONE Friday Fights 81, where he faces Kiamran Nabati in a bantamweight Muay Thai contest at the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Ahead of the exciting match, ONE Championship has looked back at the most savage victories during his reign as the undisputed king of the weight class. They captioned the video with:
"RAMPAGE 🥊💥 Can Nong-O add another knockout to his resume against Kiamran Nabati at ONE Friday Fights 81? @nongogaiyanghadao"
The five-slide Instagram post highlighted the Thai superstar's victories against top contenders Liam Harrison, Felipe Lobo, Saemapetch Fairtex, Alaverdi Ramazanov, and Rodlek PK Saenchai.
These stoppage victories from the 37-year-old icon were part of his dominant run as the division's title holder for almost four years, which also saw him successfully defend his 26-pound golden belt seven times in a row.
Nong-O surprised by the outcome of the Superlek-Jonathan Haggerty super fight at ONE 168: Denver
The result of the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title clash between Superlek Kiatmoo9 and Jonathan Haggerty at the recently concluded ONE 168: Denver card, which took place at the Ball Arena in Colorado, surprised everyone.
Even the Evolve MMA representative has nothing much to say about the 49-second knockout win of 'The Kicking Machine' against 'The General.'
Nong-O shared his thoughts with the South China Morning Post in a recent interview, where he said:
"For Haggerty, I would say that I'm surprised. It was just 49 seconds. It was very short, and it's hard to evaluate that fight, because if it was like two rounds, three rounds, maybe I could evaluate more. But this is like the first round, 49 seconds. It's like hard to say anything. I would say I'm surprised."
