WATCH: Thai legend Sam-A Gaiyanghadao showcases surgical precision in dominant KO win over Josh Tonna

Legendary Muay Thai and kickboxing star Sam-A Gaiyanghadao's striking brilliance shined in his defense of the ONE strawweight Muay Thai world championship against Josh Tonna at ONE: Reign of Dynasties in October 2020.

After knocking down 'Timebomb' with a quick left hand, Sam-A landed a thunderous leg kick that dropped Tonna again. The Thai icon ultimately secured the TKO win by invoking the three-knockdown rule with a walk-off punch to the Australian's jaw.

The Evolve MMA star aimed for another successful defense of the 135-pound Muay Thai crown when he faced fellow Thai star Prajanchai PK Saenchai in July 2021 but ultimately lost via decision.

Following a short-lived retirement, Sam-A has since posted two knockout triumphs in his last three outings, with his vicious first-round finish of Akram Hamidi this past September at ONE Friday Fights 81 being his latest win.

The 41-year-old will look to stay on the right track by dominating Zhang Peimian in their strawweight kickboxing bout at ONE 169: Malykhin vs. 'Reug Reug' on Nov. 8 inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
