WATCH: Thai megastar Rodtang Jitmuangnon captures the world's attention during his savage ONE Championship run

ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon's excellent performances inside the circle have established him as one of ONE Championship's most globally recognized athletes. 'The Iron Man' has emerged victorious 15 times in 17 outings since making his promotional debut in September 2018.

This run includes finishes of Edgar Tabares, former ONE strawweight Muay Thai world champion Joseph Lasiri, and current ONE bantamweight Muay Thai and kickboxing world champion Jonathan Haggerty.

In March 2022 at ONE X, Rodtang made history with now-reigning ONE flyweight MMA world champion Demetrious Johnson when they competed in the first-ever mixed-rules bout, which 'Mighty Mouse' ultimately won via rear-naked choke in the second round.

The Jitmuangnon Gym star will look to give fans another memorable fight when he defends the 135-pound Muay Thai crown against Jacob Smith at ONE 169: Atlanta on Nov. 8 inside the State Farm Arena.

Jacob Smith has a score to settle with Rodtang after the Thai hero handed him a unanimous decision defeat in his ONE debut in May 2022 during their quarterfinal matchup in the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Grand Prix.

The British star wants to exact his revenge while taking the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world championship from Rodtang at ONE 169: Atlanta.

The third-ranked flyweight Muay Thai fighter recently told Sportskeeda MMA:

"I'm not gonna let you know in detail, but what you can expect from me is everything that I usually bring in terms of excitement, and people will want to watch me."
