WATCH: Thai megastar Rodtang looking meaner by the day heading into ONE 167 matchup against Denis Puric

Rodtang Jitmuangnon is looking like his old self a couple of weeks before he makes his in-ring return.

The reigning ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion is hard at work to return to his menacing form heading into his kickboxing matchup against Denis Puric at ONE 167.

Rodtang, who suffered an injury to his left hand earlier this year, will face Puric in a non-title match on June 7 at Impact Arena in Bangkok.

A few weeks ahead of his return, Rodtang shared snippets of his training camp at Looksaikongdin Gym in Bangkok.

Looksaikongdin Gym is the home gym of Rodtang's wife Aida Looksaikongdin.

The video showed Rodtang working on his short combinations, and his always devastating hook combos.

Rodtang is primarily a Muay Thai fighter, but he slowly built a small kickboxing resume in ONE Championship.

The Thai megastar is a perfect 2-0 in his kickboxing matches in ONE Championship and holds wins over Jiduo Yibu and Tagir Khalilov.

Rodtang is also the number one contender to ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9.

Coincidentally, Superlek is the number one contender for Rodtang's ONE flyweight Muay Thai world title.

Rodtang's return to action, and the entire ONE 167 card, is available live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.

Denis Puric believes he can dethrone Rodtang

Although their fight is a normal three-round kickboxing bout, Denis Puric believes he's the one destined to dethrone Rodtang off the flyweight Muay Thai summit.

Puric told ONE Championship in an interview that a win over Rodtang would lead him to a shot at the flyweight Muay Thai throne and the career-defining chance to end 'The Iron Man's' almost five-year reign.

"It's gonna be amazing," said Puric. "It's gonna be wonderful. It's time for a new king."
