'The Iron Man' proved that 'The Hurricane's' challenge was an easy assignment for him because he just walked him down and bullied him around the circle throughout the fight.

Rodtang's constant pressure and powerful combinations were too much for his Italian-Morrocan opponent as he yielded a lopsided unanimous decision nod from the judges.

The best moments for the Jitmuangnon Gym representative were the two knockdowns he scored in the late stage of the match, particularly in the fourth and fifth rounds, where he finally made Lasiri touch the canvas and dropped him.

Rodtang says that he is not underestimating Jacob Smith ahead of their world title rematch at ONE 169: Atlanta

The 27-year-old Thai superstar is now ready for his upcoming world title defense against Jacob Smith on November 8. The fight will be part of the stacked ONE 169: Atlanta card at the State Farm Arena in Georgia.

Ahead of that rematch with Smith, Rodtang spoke with Sportskeeda MMA in an exclusive interview, and he said that he will not be seeing past the British star because of the improvements he made since their first meeting, saying:

"He's been evolving, improving every day. There's no reason to underestimate him although I have won against him before."

Rodtang drew first blood in his head-to-head score against Smith in May 2022 at ONE 157, where he unanimously beat him in their flyweight Muay Thai clash inside the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
