WATCH: Thai megastar Superbon sends famed coach Trainer Gae flying in preparation for Muay Thai super fight against Jo Nattawut
ONE interim featherweight kickboxing world champion Superbon is currently preparing for his upcoming clash with Jo Nattawut at ONE Friday Fights 81 on September 27 inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
In a recent video that ONE Championship posted on Instagram, Superbon gave a sneak peek into his preparation ahead of their featherweight Muay Thai showdown:
"Entering a new multiverse ☄️ Superbon battles 'Smokin' Jo Nattawut in a non-title Muay Thai clash at ONE Friday Fights 81! Who will take the victory? @superbon_banchamek"
The video saw Superbon kicking Trainer Gae with a three-piece leg kick. A solid body kick and two vicious front kicks sent him flying down the mat while holding the pads for him.
Superbon is fresh off his ONE interim featherweight kickboxing world title triumph against long-time rival Marat Grigorian in April 2024 at ONE Friday Fights 58. He recorded a unanimous decision win to cement his shot for the unification match against the reigning ONE featherweight kickboxing king Chingiz Allazov.
Prior to this win over Grigorian, the Thai superstar came up short in his attempt to become the ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion when he fought Tawanchai PK Saenchai in December 2023 at ONE Friday Fights 46.
Superbon looking for his sixth victory in ONE Championship at ONE Friday Fights 81
The 33-year-old striking superstar has a ONE Championship record of five wins and two losses since his debut in July 2020. Aside from his two wins over Grigorian, Superbon's pile of victories includes Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong, the legendary Giorgio Petrosyan, and Tayfun Ozcan.
Now, the Superbon Training Camp representative wants to add 'Smokin' Jo' to his hit list and tally his sixth victory in the world's largest martial arts organization.
