WATCH: Thai megastar Tawanchai's bone-breaking stoppage of Davit Kiria in stellar kickboxing showdown in Bangkok

ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai never backs down from a challenge. That trend continued in August 2023 as he stood toe-to-toe against the world-renowned Davit Kiria in a kickboxing bout.

The Thai native fired a body kick that was caught by Kiria's forearm in the hopes of absorbing the hard blow. However, it instead broke the Georgian star's arm, giving Tawanchai the third-round TKO victory.

The win gave Tawanchai his fifth finish in six fights and soon after added three victories to improve his current ONE record to 9-1.

Tawanchai will defend his throne at ONE 169: Atlanta on November 8 for his trilogy fight against fellow Thai star 'Smokin'' Jo Nattawut at State Farm Arena.

The heated rivalry between Tawanchai and Jo Nattawut

Tawanchai and Jo Nattawut first fought in October 2023 under featherweight kickboxing rules, with the latter being a short-notice replacement fighter for the then-injured Superbon.

After a three-round war that pushed them to their absolute limits, the PK Saenchai Muay Thai Gym product took home an extremely close unanimous decision victory.

Nattawut sought to take Tawanchai's featherweight Muay Thai crown at ONE 167 last month but fell short in doing so - this time via majority decision.

With the opportunity to provide a definitive end to his rivalry with Nattawut inside the State Farm Arena, fans can expect Tawanchai to go all-out as he looks to successfully defend his 26 pounds of ONE Championship gold for a fourth time.
