WATCH: Thai star Sinsamut Klinmee gets sneaky with textbook leg trip of featherweight Muay Thai king Tawanchai in training
Former two-time ONE lightweight Muay Thai world title challenger Sinsamut Klinmee is looking ready for his upcoming fight with Youssef Assouik on Oct. 4 at ONE Friday Fights 25, which will happen inside the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Sinsamut was recently seen training with reigning ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai and caught him with a classic leg trip.
The world's largest martial arts organization recently posted this video on Instagram:
"When two Muay Thai warriors collide 💥 Sinsamut squares off against Youssef Assouik at ONE Fight Night 25 on @primevideo, and Tawanchai goes head-to-head with Jo Nattawut in a trilogy showdown at ONE 169: Atlanta! Will both stars get the W? 👀 @tawanchay_pk @sinsamut_klinmee"
In the video, the two Thai superstars were sharpening their clinch game with elbow and knee strikes from close range before Tawanchai decided to attempt a flying knee, which Sinsamut countered perfectly with the leg trip.
This counter immediately floored Tawanchai down the mat and made him exhausted.
Sinsamut reveals he learned to punch properly with legendary boxer Tyson Fury after a training session with him
Former unified heavyweight boxing world champion Tyson Fury recently visited Thailand, and Sinsamut was among the athletes to share a training session with 'The Gypsy King'.
In an interview with ONE Championship after Fury's visit, the Venum Training Camp-affiliated athlete said that he learned how to punch properly in accordance to the sweet science's principles, as he stated:
"I learned how to punch properly according to boxing principles. I also taught him how to kick, but not much. I didn't want to bother him too much during his personal time."
ONE Fight Night 25 is available live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in North America on Oct. 4 during U.S. primetime.
