WATCH: Thai superstar Superlek Kiatmoo9 overwhelms Kongthoranee in Muay Thai masterclass

ONE flyweight kickboxing king Superlek Kiatmoo9 extended his impressive winning run in his most recent match last month. He did so by providing a Muay Thai masterclass over fellow Thai fighter Kongthoranee Sor Sommai.

'The Kicking Machine' dominated Kongthoranee throughout their three-round flyweight Muay Thai clash at ONE Friday Fights 68 on June 28 in Thailand.

Superlek uncorked solid high elbows and intense knees that consireably affected the attack of his opponent and fortified his cause on his way to the well-earned decision victory.

ONE Championship recently uploaded the full fight on its official YouTube channel for fans to relive the intense action that went down.

Check out the video below:

The win was the 10th straight win for the Kiatmoo9 Gym standout in ONE Championship and took his overall professional fighting record to 137-29.

Kongthoranee, meanwhile, slumped to his first defeat in his last eight matches in the promotion.

Superlek transitions to title fight in next match in September

Following another impressive victory at ONE Friday Fights 68 last month in Thailand, Superlek is now girding for his bid for the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title against reigning divisional champion Jonathan Haggerty in September.

The 28-year-old flyweight kickboxing king will try to become a double world champion by adding the bantamweight Muay Thai belt in the possession of "The General' at ONE 168 on Sept. 6 in Denver, Colorado, U.S.A.

The contest is part of the promotion's second live on-ground event in the United States after its successful show in May last year, also in Colorado.

Superlek is coming into the title fight with a lot of momentum, winning 10 straight, including seven in the last 20 months, which also saw him become the flyweight kickboxing champion in January 2023.

Meanwhile, Haggerty, who is also the bantamweight kickboxing champion, will be making his second defense of the Muay Thai belt after his third-round TKO win over Brazilian challenger Felipe Lobo back in February.

ONE 168: Denver will take place at the Ball Arena, home of the NBA's Denver Nuggets. Tickets for the event are now available at Ticketmaster. It will be available live and for free to North American fans with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.
