WATCH: The tomahawk elbow that catapulted London’s Jonathan Haggerty to utter superstardom
Revisit Jonathan Haggerty's vicious tomahawk elbow from his days in the ONE flyweight Muay Thai division.
Before moving up to bantamweight, Haggerty fought at flyweight and became a Muay Thai world champion under the ONE banner. One of the UK superstar's most impressive performances was his promotional debut when he fought Joseph Lasiri at ONE: Eternal Glory.
Haggerty showed off his dangerous skillset with a monster tomahawk elbow that dropped Lasiri and left him in pain. 'The Hurricane' somehow recovered from the devastating attack and survived to the final bell, with Haggerty emerging victorious by unanimous decision.

Since then, Jonathan Haggerty has solidified himself as one of the greatest fighters in ONE Championship history. 'The General' conquered the ONE flyweight Muay Thai division and later became the bantamweight Muay Thai world champion, which he's been since April 2023.
Haggerty has also showcased his versatility by knocking out Fabricio Andrade for the vacant ONE bantamweight kickboxing world champion. The two-sport world champion now looks to add another legendary name to his resume.
Jonathan Haggerty looks for arguably biggest win of fighting career at ONE 168: Denver
On September 6, ONE Championship will travel to Denver, Colorado, for ONE 168. In the main event, Jonathan Haggerty looks to defend his bantamweight Muay Thai strap against Superlek, the ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion.
Superlek is coming off wins against Rodtang (Muay Thai), Takeru Segawa (kickboxing), and Kongthoranee (Muay Thai). Meanwhile, Haggerty's last three wins have also been impressive, as he's defeated Nong-O (Muay Thai), Fabricio Andrade (kickboxing), and Felipe Lobo (Muay Thai).
With a win against Superlek, Haggerty would add a legendary name to his resume featuring Nong-O and Sam-A. It'll be easier said than done, as 'The Kicking Machine' has separated himself as one of the most dangerous strikers on the ONE Championship roster.
ONE 168: Denver goes down inside the Ball Arena. Tickets for the September 6 spectacle are available on Ticketmaster.
