WATCH: Turkish monster Shamil Erdogan captures his biggest win in absolute domination of Burmese legend Aung La N Sang
Turkish MMA star Shamil Erdogan made the most out of his opportunity at ONE 168: Denver last Friday at the Ball Arena by dominating former ONE middleweight and light heavyweight MMA world champion Aung La N Sang.
Though 'The Burmese Python' survived the first-round onslaught, Erdogan ultimately emerged victorious by TKO after unleashing a downpour of vicious ground-and-pound in round two, forcing referee Herb Dean to wave off the bout.
Watch Erdogan's one-sided beatdown of the Burmese legend below, which ONE posted on YouTube:
Erdogan could not have put together a better performance in his sophomore outing as he capitalized on the momentum he generated in his promotional debut knockout of Fan Rong in June 2023.
The Kremost Fight Club star will look to continue his run of dominance en route to potentially challenging for the ONE middleweight MMA world championship currently held by three-division kingpin Anatoly Malykhin, who also holds the ONE light heavyweight and heavyweight MMA world championships.

The 34-year-old Turkish standout said:
"I feel great and overwhelmed. For sure, Aung La is a very strong aopponent. I'm just glad to participate with him.
