WATCH: Two-sport king Jonathan Haggerty puts his body through the wringer in intense workout ahead of Superlek super fight

Two-sport ONE bantamweight world champion Jonathan Haggerty will have the biggest fight of his career at ONE 168: Denver on September 6 as he defends his Muay Thai world title against ONE flyweight kickboxing world titlist Superlek Kiatmoo9.

With the 18,000-seater Ball Arena in Denver set to host the big event, 'The General' wants nothing more than to stay on his throne and is doing everything in his power to make it a possibility.

ONE Championship shared a video of Haggerty working out in the gym via Instagram and he appears to be in the best physical condition of his career yet.

What makes 'The Kicking Machine' a major problem for Haggerty is how he employs a game plan focused on taking out his opponent's legs, much like how he defeated Japanese kickboxing icon Takeru Segawa at ONE 165 this past January.

Haggerty, who also holds the ONE bantamweight kickboxing world title, will need to constantly be on his toes, outmaneuvering Superlek the whole way and countering with heavy shots from all angles if he wants to stay on top of the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai division.

Jonathan Haggerty eager to end Superlek's monstrous winning streak

Superlek is currently riding a 10-fight winning streak that dates back to May 2022, and the Keddles Gym product would love nothing more than to be the one responsible for ending it.

Speaking with Sky Sports MMA Club, Jonathan Haggerty stated:

"He's got the same style. He's obviously on the biggest stage now, he's used to the big audience, the big stage, and he has been beating everyone. Coming into this fight, I feel that he's confident, he hasn't been beaten in ONE, and he's gonna be well up for the battle. I'm excited."

Tickets for ONE 168 are currently available via Ticketmaster.
