WATCH: Two-sport king Jonathan Haggerty ramps up the intensity in preparation for the defense against Superlek in Denver
Current two-sport world champion Jonathan Haggerty is a known hardworker in the gym, especially when he is on camp and is preparing for an upcoming fight. Another evidence of this passion and dedication has surfaced for Haggerty.
Recently, ONE Championship posted a snippet of Haggerty's preparation for his scheduled world title defense, and they captioned the video with:
""The General" looks UNSTOPPABLE 💥 Will Jonathan Haggerty remain a two-sport king when he defends the bantamweight Muay Thai crown against Superlek on September 6 at ONE 168: Denver? 👑 @jhaggerty_"
In the video, 'The General' was seen going all out with his powerful kicks against the pads. He punished them with two 10 reps of kicks from both legs and the loud bang was heard around the gym.
Haggerty has perfected this technique, which has helped him record eight victories in 10 fights under ONE Championship since his promotional debut in January 2019.
Currently, the Knowlesy Academy representative is riding a six-fight win streak and his most recent victory was against Felipe Lobo, whom he stopped via third-round TKO finish in the world title match at ONE Fight Night 19 in Febraury 2019.
