Watch: When Joe Rogan was left shocked on live TV as Daniel Cormier vowed to make Jon Jones quit ahead of their rematch
A video of UFC color commentator Joe Rogan being shocked at the daring claims made by Daniel Cormier ahead of his first fight against Jon Jones at UFC 182 has surfaced on the internet.
As part of the promotions for the fight, Jones joined the UFC broadcast and his rival Cormier laid out his plans for a hotly contested fight for the light heavyweight throne:
"Right around the 3rd round, 4th round, Jon will open his hands and let his grip go and say, 'Daniel take it. This is too hard. I don’t wanna deal with it." I am going to push that man to a place that he has never been in his entire life. I will make Jon Jones quit. Sunday morning, Joe Rogan, you will wake up and you will say how Daniel made this look so easy.”
Rogan was visibly astounded by the electrifying promo cut by then challenger Daniel Cormier.

Jon Jones went on to win the fight at UFC 182 via unanimous decision and made the eighth defense of his 205-pound strap. Jones also became the first fighter to take down Cormier in an MMA fight.
It was later revealed that 'Bones' tested positive for cocaine in a pre-event drug test.

Joe Rogan believes that Jon Jones has a perfectly designed physique for fighting
Joe Rogan recently claimed in an episode of the FLAGRANT podcast that two-time light heavyweight champion Jon Jones' body frame and physical configuration is perfectly designed for fighting.
Rogan also pointed out that despite Jones having tiny calves, anatomically, it favors him since it establishes a significant reach advantage over his opponents:
"Jon has tiny calves. They're like almost non-existent. It's the craziest thing. It makes no sense. [But] he's got like literally the perfect frame for fighting. Cause he only has muscles where he needs it. He's got shoulders, he's got arms, he's got thighs. He doesn't need his calves"
Rogan added:
"He's so long. It's like he's designed in a lab. Like if you want to design the perfect physique for fighting, I think it's Jon Jones. He's a master at distance. He's the best at using this gift that he has."
